Texas LTC/CHL Course: The class includes in person classroom and a proficiency demonstration (shooting). There are four (4) required topics:  use of force; non violent dispute resolution; handgun use; and safe and proper storage of handguns and ammunition.  Additional topics may be taught as well. This is a 4 to 6 hour course not including time spent conducting the proficiency demonstration (shooting). Update: As of 1/1/2016 This course will also cover the new Open Carry laws in Texas.

Home Firearm Safety Non NRA (taught in your home): This is a home firearm safety course offered in your home. This is a 3-hour course and is designed to teach all members of your household home firearm safety; including what children should do in the event they discover a firearm, how to unload various types of firearms, proper storage of firearms, firearm care, and much more. NRA Home Firearm Safety Course: This is a 4-hour course for safe gun handling that is conducted in the classroom only. Students are taught NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearms accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. Students will receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, course completion certificate. NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course: This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.

NRA FIRST Steps Pistol: This course is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type for classes of four or fewer students. This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific pistol action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, FIRST Steps Course completion certificate.

Active Home Intruder Course:  This is a 4-6 hour course. What would you do if you woke up in the middle of the night to find someone in your home that's not supposed to be there? What would your family members do? Do you have a plan? Our Active Home Intruder Course is designed around these scenarios and is taught in your home, to you and your family! In this course we run multiple hands on scenarios with you and the members of your family including; what to do if an intruder has broken into your home (or is breaking into your home), what your children should do if they come home to discover a break in, home security options to lessen your risk for an intruder, and much much more.  We designed this course with multiple law enforcement professionals to be able to bring our clients the BEST preparedness possible for an active intruder situation.

Private Firearm Lessons: These lessons are designed around shooters who have some familiarity with firearms and are just looking for some hands on training with a certified instructor. Our instructors are available for $20 per hour with a 2 hour minimum, this does not include any ammunition and/or range fees. The student is responsible for range fees for the instructor (and themselves) as well as ammunition costs.
